The details of my land
Los detalles de mi tierra
The realisation of this project stems from my interest in the relationship between my space: the individual and the collective. Since I was a child I have lived in the city of Morelia; I know its streets, the rhythm, the accent of the people, their customs and habits. All this everyday life led me to create a story of a personal nature in which these details of everyday life are part of a "Mexican urban aesthetic". In this project I immerse myself in detail in the world around me, through my own history, analysing objects and spaces, to get to know the people I live with and therefore, myself.
La realización de este proyecto parte del interés que tengo, sobre la relación de mi espacio: el individual y el colectivo. Desde niña he vivido en la ciudad de Morelia; conozco sus calles, el ritmo, el acento de las personas, sus usos y costumbres. Toda esta cotidianidad, me llevó a realizar una historia de índole personal en donde esos detalles de la vida cotidiana son parte de una “Estética urbana mexicana”. En este proyecto me sumerjo a detalle en el mundo de mi entorno, a través de mi propia historia, analizando los objetos y los espacios, para conocer a la gente con la que vivo y por lo tanto, a mí misma.
